KCI Welcomes Stephen Jerrick as Land Development Practice Leader in Fulton, Maryland

KCI is pleased to announce that Stephen Jerrick, PE, has joined the firm as Practice Leader for land development in the Fulton office. In this role, he will work alongside Practice Leader Timothy Miller to expand the firm’s regional footprint and will lead the group upon Miller’s retirement.

With almost two decades in civil engineering and land development, Jerrick’s experience has focused on planning and design of buildings, parks and transportation facilities. His technical expertise has involved all aspects of design, including grading, site layout, roadways, parking facilities, utilities, storm drainage systems, and environmental controls including stormwater management and erosion and sediment control. Jerrick has been responsible for all phases of the project lifecycle including feasibility studies, conceptual planning, design and construction documents, and construction administration and support.

With his extensive experience throughout the state of Maryland, Steve is a great fit for our growing Land Development Practice. His good standing with multiple clients and local agencies is a huge asset for KCI.

His expertise covers a wide range of markets, including parks and recreation, municipal and public safety facilities, non-profits, higher education, and K-12. Recent local projects include the Southern Area Aquatics and Recreation Complex, Brookside Gardens Entry and Parking Lot Improvements, Towson Fire Station, University of Maryland Iribe Center, Western Grove Urban Park, Whitemarsh Park, and the Gaithersburg Olde Towne Youth Center. He has also managed several on-call contracts that have involved more than 50 task order assignments.

Jerrick earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is a registered professional engineer and has served on the Political Action, Legislative and Facilities committees of the American Council of Engineering Companies / Maryland.
