KCI provided roadway and bikeway design for Hausman Road, the City of San Antonio’s first design-build road improvement project and the largest road improvement project approved by voters in the 2012 City Bond Program.
The project converted 3.4 miles of two-lane roadway to a four-lane road with a median. The design created an innovative complete street concept by including pedestrian and bicycle facilities, landscaping, public art, and low impact development elements.
