KCI is pleased to announce that John Adams has been appointed as Director of Safety.
In his new role, Adams will leverage his extensive experience gained during his seven years with KCI’s Industrial Hygiene practice and over a decade in environmental science to advance the firm’s safety initiatives and ensure the health and wellbeing of all employee-owners.
Throughout his career, Adams has successfully navigated numerous projects involving hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, and chromium. His expertise includes complex mold abatement project regulation, Landfill Gas monitoring, environmental surveys, and FDA compliance inspections. He has consistently delivered knowledgeable support and reliable service to high-level clients, earning their trust through his attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence.
As Director of Safety, Adams will lead the development of service line-specific health and safety plans, ensure regular updates to KCI’s safety manual, and provide strategic guidance to leadership on evolving safety regulations that may impact the firm. His proactive approach will strengthen KCI’s commitment to creating a culture of safety that extends beyond project sites to all aspects of employee-owners’ work and daily lives.

Adams holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Frostburg State University and is a Certified Safety Professional accredited by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. He is also an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals.
