KCI is pleased to announce that Carlos Juarez, PE, has been promoted to practice leader.
Juarez will utilize his expertise in PS&E project development and risk management to further grow KCI’s transportation engineering efforts across the state of Texas.
With over 12 years of experience in the engineering industry, Juarez previously worked as a transportation engineer for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), assisting with the production and management of preliminary engineering reports, feasibility studies, and final construction plan development. In his new role, Juarez will be responsible for coordinating with government officials and stakeholders, leading public meetings, and spearheading efforts to address public response. In addition, he will manage the delivery of all design milestones and administrative submittals to transportation clients statewide.

He will continue to focus on growing our state and local municipal practice while serving as the office manager for our recently opened Harlingen office in Cameron County.”

Juarez earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M – Kingsville and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
