KCI is pleased to announce that Robert A. “Bob” Heyman, PE, has been promoted to practice leader for bridge design in Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C.
Heyman will leverage his expertise in structural engineering and project management to further grow KCI’s transportation structures service offerings including pursuing transit, design/build and public-private partnership (P3) contracts.
Heyman has more than 25 years of experience in bridge engineering and has spent the entirety of his career with KCI in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as a senior project manager where he oversaw a wide range of bridge design, inspection, and analysis projects. During his tenure with the firm, he has led projects ranging from small culverts for local roadways to large, complex rehabilitation and widening projects for state and municipal clients.
In this role, Heyman will work alongside Practice Leader John M. Hudacek, PE, who will lead bridge condition inspection, maintenance, repair, and underwater/diving projects throughout the region as well as for federal clients across KCI’s national footprint.
“This expansion of the firm’s transportation structures practices allows KCI to better serve our clients and continue to expand our expertise in transportation structures assessment and design.”
