KCI is pleased to welcome Benjamin Bice back to the firm as a practice leader for subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services throughout New England.
In this role, Bice will focus on expanding KCI’s presence in the SUE and survey markets, identifying opportunities, fostering strong relationships with new and existing clients, and enhancing KCI’s visibility and impact throughout the region.
With nearly two decades of experience, Bice has led utility investigations for transportation agencies, airports, universities, and municipalities. His work includes major projects like the William F. McClellan highway for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Logan Airport’s A-B/C-E connector for the Massachusetts Port Authority, and campus utility upgrades for the state’s Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance.

Bice earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the State University of New York at Oswego. Additionally, he is a member of several SUE, survey and professional engineering organizations, such as the SUE Association, Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers (MALSCE), American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), New York Association of Professional Land Surveyors (NYSAPLS), and the Massachusetts Utility Surveyors and Technicians (MUST).
