James Fitz Morris is a Construction Services Regional Manager for KCI’s Transportation Structures Practice in the southeast. He was promoted to Vice President in 2017. Operating out of the firm’s Charlotte, North Carolina, office, Jim manages a team of engineers that specializes in bridge design and construction phase contractor engineering services. He has more than three decades of experience in design-bid-build and design build projects that include steel curved girders, lift bridges, truss structures, steel and concrete arches, pretensioned and post-tensioned concrete, work trestles, bridge jacking, formwork, falsework, shorings and a wide variety of construction engineering services.
Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a registered professional engineer in seven states.
