Gary Mryncza is KCI’s water market leader. Prior to taking on this role in 2017, he served as resource management discipline manager for six years. First joining KCI as an environmental scientist, Mryncza has since overseen KCI’s Natural Resources operation in North Carolina and opened KCI’s office in Brentwood, Tennessee. In 2016, he was promoted to senior vice president. His technical background spans the natural sciences, civil engineering, water resources, and construction management specialties. He is a licensed professional engineer in 11 states and also holds Professional Hydrologist and Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control certifications.
Gary has worked on award-winning water and environmental projects in North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, and Ohio, and he is a regular presenter at state and regional conferences on water-related topics. He has conducted research and presented state-of-the practice briefs on alternative delivery methods and integrated project delivery in environmental restoration and he also participates on the Environment and Energy committee of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee. Outside of work, Gary volunteers his time helping to improve the use of technology at St. Patrick’s School, as well as serving as a youth lacrosse coach and avidly supporting the Williamson County 4-H Horse Project.
