Shirk Promoted to Practice Leader

KCI is pleased to announce that Brandon Shirk has been promoted to practice leader.

Shirk will leverage nearly two decades of experience in the industry to continue the expansion of KCI’s transit architecture practice, driving development throughout Pennsylvania and beyond. In this role, he will continue serving clients such as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and various transit agencies.

Throughout his career, Shirk has served a variety of markets, including residential, amusement, educational, and commercial. He brings comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of project delivery, leading design teams through planning and code review, construction documentation, project coordination, and construction administration. While Shirk specializes in providing services for bus and vehicle maintenance facilities, he also bears extensive experience in transit rail facility design and ADA review.

Shirk holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Drexel University and is a registered architect. He additionally serves as a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
