KCI is pleased to announce that Crystal Moore has been promoted to practice leader.
Moore will utilize her extensive experience in hydraulic and hydrologic design, particularly for transportation projects, to drive the growth of KCI’s water resources practice in the southern region. In this role, she will collaborate with other regional and practice leaders to expand the water market.
With 20 years of industry experience, Moore has worked across several geographic regions and has provided services to various clients, including NCDOT, TDOT, GDOT, and local municipalities. She has experience providing all aspects of hydraulic design services for bridge and roadway improvement projects on urban, rural, and interstate highways, including bridge replacements in Federal Emergency management Special Flood Hazard Areas. She is skilled in GEOPAK roadway drainage design, bridge and box culvert analyses, and HEC-RAS/HEC-2 analyses of FEMA floodplains. Additionally, she is also a leading expert in Bentley’s MicroStation OpenRoads Drainage and has been providing support services to numerous clients during their transition.

Moore earned her bachelor’s degree in bioenvironmental engineering and her master’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina A&T University. She also holds an MBA from Walden University of Baltimore.
