KCI is pleased to announce that Brian Crowell has been promoted to power distribution regional practice leader in the north within the firm’s Energy Sector.
In this role, he will leverage his expertise in distribution to oversee teams in the greater mid-Atlantic, Cincinnati, and Indiana.
Throughout his career, Crowell has worked on a wide range of projects, including gas and electric developments, private residences, outdoor lighting projects, and system expansion initiatives. He began his career with Baltimore Gas and Electric’s distribution team where he spent the first ten years gaining expertise in gas theory, installation methods, and electrical practices. Since joining KCI twelve years ago, Crowell has advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including designer and project manager. In 2017, he was promoted to practice leader, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the newly reprocured Exelon contract, serving Baltimore Gas and Electric, Atlantic City Electric, PECO, and Delmarva.

As an active member of the community, Crowell is heavily involved in several programs. He serves on the board of directors for Leadership Baltimore County as the chair of the program committee and as vice chair of the United Way of Central Maryland’s Baltimore County Region United Network Board. Since 2022, Crowell has overseen KCI’s United Way corporate charity campaign and played a crucial role in establishing KCI’s Corporate Day of Service program, which allocates hours every year for employees to volunteer.
