KCI is leading the completion of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for proposed improvements to US 281 from south of SH 186 to north of FM 490 in Hidalgo County.
Our team is performing data collection, field reconnaissance, and design survey, in addition to developing hydraulic design and analyses for storm drains, cross-drainage structures, and temporary drainage facilities. The roadway update also requires signing, pavement markings, signalization, utility engineering, retaining walls, and traffic control plans. While ensuring that the project remains in compliance with state and federal policies, KCI is managing subcontractors to complete the roadway and bridge design, hydrologic and hydraulic design, traffic signal design, survey, and geotechnical data collection.
